Founded in 1989, the Inventors Association Australia – Victoria (IAA-VIC) is a non-profit organization headquartered in Melbourne, Australia. With a membership of over 1,000 inventors from diverse backgrounds and locations, our mission is to support and promote the interests of inventors across Australia.

IAA-VIC offers a comprehensive range of benefits designed to encourage inventors at every stage of the invention process. Our team of professionals has the knowledge and expertise to provide valuable assistance, including patent research using our exclusive Ambercite license, prototype development support, and access to resources. IAA-VIC is headquartered in Melbourne, Australia, and governed by a board of directors elected by our membership. We are a registered charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission, and our funding comes from membership dues and donations.
